JewelTrack Privacy Policy

This policy explains how JewelTrack handles information when it is used to manage jewelry shops.

Information we process

• Account information such as email address, name, and user identifier.
• Organization, shop, and employee records entered by an organization owner or authorized users.
• Item, barcode, operation, and report data recorded in an organization.
• Authentication and authorization data needed to ensure that each organization can access only its own data.
• The app uses the camera to scan barcodes when you choose that feature. The app does not store camera images as operation data.
• Firebase and Google Cloud may process basic technical logs needed to operate and protect the service.

How we use information

• To sign users in and manage accounts and permissions.
• To provide shop, employee, item, operation, barcode search, and reporting features.
• To keep organizations' data separate and prevent unauthorized access.
• To operate and maintain the service and address errors and security requests.

Service providers

We use Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, database, and cloud functions. These providers may process information only as needed to provide those services and under their security terms. We do not sell your data or use it to show advertisements in the app.

Retention and deletion

Organization data is kept while the organization uses JewelTrack or until its owner requests deletion. An organization owner may request account and data deletion through the contact details below. We may retain limited records when required by law or necessary to protect the service.

Security

We use authentication, authorization, and organization-level isolation rules to protect data. No electronic transmission or storage method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Children

The app is intended for business management and is not directed to children. Children should not use it without a parent or guardian's supervision.

Changes

We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. The update date at the top of this page will be changed accordingly.
